Photo Booth Templates
Where our customers get their templates, and how to use them in Booth Junkie.
Will my templates work?
Almost certainly. Booth Junkie uses standard PNG templates with a transparent background, which is what nearly every template designer supplies and what most photo booth software expects. If you’ve got a folder of designs from an old booth or another program, you can carry on using them.
You set a template up in the Print Layout designer. Add your artwork as an overlay, drag the photo boxes into the gaps, and save. If a template arrives as a ZIP with the layout already worked out, Import From ZIP will position the photos for you.
Where to get them
It’s one of the questions we get asked most, so these are the shops we point people to. We don’t get paid for recommending any of them.

Making your own
Plenty of operators design their own, and you don’t need anything expensive to do it. Any program that saves a PNG with a transparent background will do the job. Photoshop, Affinity, GIMP and Canva all work. Make it the size you print at and leave the photo areas see-through.
The Print Layout designer covers single shots, multi-shot layouts and strips, each with its own design, and you can add text, a signature area and a QR code that takes guests to their online gallery.
