On the night
Guests operate it without being shown how
Live view puts the group on screen while the camera frames, so nobody is cut off at the edge of the print. They tap, they pose, they pick a filter, they sign it, and they enter their own number to have it sent.
That delivery is direct, and the difference is worth being precise about: the guest types their number and the photo itself arrives in their WhatsApp. There is no verification code to wait for and type back, no second website to visit, and no app to install.
SMS and WhatsApp are both part of Premium, which comes with every licence for the first twelve months, and neither is charged per message — so a busy stand never turns into a bill at the end of the month.
When the brief asks for more
Prints built to look designed
Print layouts are put together inside the application — photo slots, overlays, a signature panel, a client logo, positioned exactly on the print. Green screen can teleport a guest to any scene in an instant, using your own library of backgrounds.
Artwork and characters composite into the finished photo, so what comes off the printer reads as one image rather than a photo with things placed on top of it.

Canon DSLR and mirrorless bodies connect over USB and are driven directly. Printing goes through Windows, so any printer Windows can print to will work — which keeps the hardware decision yours.

What you buy
A Lifetime Licence, purchased once. Premium is included for the first twelve months, and when it lapses the software carries on working — it does not stop at the end of a period, and a licensed machine never goes back to watermarking your photos.
Green screen, compositing, print design, WhatsApp and SMS are all part of it from the first day you run the Booth Junkie software.
What it means for your pricing
There is no monthly fee and no per-event charge, so the software costs the same whether you take one booking a month or twenty. A busy season does not raise your overheads, and a quiet one does not cost you anything. Most users earn their licence cost back within their first two events.
The rest of the value is duller and matters more: it runs for the whole event. When a client has built something around your booth, that reliability is the part they remember.

A Lifetime Licence is £495, bought once, and includes twelve months of Premium. When that ends the software carries on working — renewing is optional, and there is no charge per event either way.

Questions we get asked before people buy
Is Booth Junkie a subscription?
No. A Lifetime Licence is bought once and stays yours. Premium is included for the first twelve months, and the software keeps working when that lapses — it does not stop at the end of a billing period, and it does not start watermarking photos on a licensed machine.
Does the free trial watermark my photos?
Yes. The 30 day trial runs the complete application with every Premium feature enabled, but the photos it produces carry a watermark. Buying a licence removes it permanently.
Can it do something the feature list does not mention?
Often, yes. A good deal of what Booth Junkie does now exists because an operator was asked for something unusual and we built it. If you have a brief and are not sure it is possible, ask.
Will it work with my printer?
If Windows can print to it, Booth Junkie can print to it — there is no separate compatibility list. That covers dye-sublimation booth printers, ordinary office printers, and Print to PDF for testing.
