What animations do

Animations are what a guest sees on the booth's screen. A themed set typically covers four moments in a session:

  • Touch to start — the idle screen inviting someone to begin
  • Countdown — the timer before each photo is taken
  • Compliment — the screen shown between shots
  • Sign your photo — the prompt for guests to draw or sign on their picture

Because each set is themed to match a print template of the same name, the screen and the printed photo can share one design through a whole event. A booth running the Neon set shows neon-styled screens and hands out neon-styled prints.

Installing

Animations install from the downloads screen inside Booth Junkie. The software places the files where it expects them, so there is nothing to configure and no restart. This page shows what each set looks like; the download itself happens in the app.

Matching prints

Most animation themes have a matching print template. If you are putting together a look for an event, it is usually worth picking the template first and then adding the animation set of the same name.

Licensing and updates

Downloads are part of Booth Junkie Premium. Every licence is a Lifetime Licence and includes 12 months of Premium, which also covers SMS, WhatsApp and email sending, FTP upload, updates and support. If Premium lapses the software carries on working and the licence stays valid — only the Premium features pause until it is renewed.

New themed sets are released regularly and appear in the app automatically. There is nothing to buy per design.
