The Strip Print Workflow is the step-by-step sequence a guest goes through after choosing the Strip Shot button on your selection screen — a short run of photos captured in sequence, printed as a narrow strip.
How it fits together
Your Admin Panel’s selection screen leads to Main Workflow first — the idle/attract loop guests see before choosing anything. When a guest picks the strip option, the app switches over to the Strip Print Workflow for the rest of their visit, then returns to Main Workflow once they’re done. How many photos actually get captured
Booth Junkie captures exactly as many photos as there are Photo steps in the Strip Print Workflow — there’s no automatic count tied to the strip shape itself. Add one Photo step per photo you want on the finished strip.
This matters because of how printing works: the Strip Prints layout fills its photo slots with whatever was captured, in capture order, up to a maximum of four. There’s no screen where a guest picks favourites afterwards, so the number of Photo steps here should match the number of slots on your Strip Prints template exactly — classic photo strips are often three or four photos, but that’s a design choice you make in the template, not a fixed rule.
A typical Strip Print Workflow
A common pattern is a short run of Photo and Preview step pairs — one pair per photo — followed by a single Print step at the end. Add a Draw step before printing if you want guests able to doodle across the finished strip — see Adding the Draw Step to Your Workflow.
Getting there from the selection screen
A shot type’s button only shows up on the selection screen if it has a workflow linked to it and its button is enabled in the Screen Layout editor. If your strip option has ever disappeared from the selection screen, check both of those rather than assuming something’s broken.
A naming note
You may notice this option is labelled slightly differently in different places — “Strip Prints” in the Print Layout editor, “Strip Shot” in Options → Print Settings, and “Strip Print Workflow” here on the Workflows tab. They all refer to the same thing.
